Suzanne Lavone Smith has been producing commissioned portraits and other artwork for over 40 years alongside her former graphics career. Her portraits are displayed in universities, banks, hospitals, and law offices as well as private collections. She has received numerous competitive awards and was a Tennessee Top Ten Finalist last year as well. Suzanne has been teaching art classes and workshops for the past decade from her home studio near Nashville, TN. She has been an active volunteer for art organizations such as the Portrait Society of America and the Portrait Society of Atlanta, where she continues to serve on their Advisory Board.
